We help B2B companies get recommended by AI

TofuBofu is an AI visibility platform for B2B. When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Mode or Microsoft Copilot for a company like yours, we show you exactly where you are named, where a competitor is named instead, and then we do the work to close the gap.

Where the name comes from

TofuBofu is the two ends of the B2B marketing funnel. TOFU is top of funnel, the moment a buyer first realises they have a problem. BOFU is bottom of funnel, the moment that same buyer picks a vendor. MOFU, the middle, is the comparison stage in between. Marketers have used the three for decades to describe how far a buyer is from a decision.

The name is the argument, not a pun. In the SEO era those were separate searches days or weeks apart, and you could lose the top of the funnel and still win the bottom with a good comparison page. An AI engine collapses the two. A buyer asks one broad question and gets back a named shortlist of vendors, which is a bottom-of-funnel answer delivered at the top of the funnel, before they have opened a single website. If the engine does not name you in that reply, you are not on the shortlist, and you never find out the deal existed.

That is the gap we measure and the gap we close. The full model, channel by channel, is in our reference guide: TOFU, MOFU, BOFU, the complete B2B funnel guide.

Why we built it

B2B buying moved. According to G2's 2026 research, 51% of buyers now start their research on an AI chatbot rather than Google, up from 29% a year earlier, and 69% have chosen a different vendor than they planned based on what an AI told them. For most B2B firms, that is an invisible problem: you cannot see the answers your buyers are getting, so you cannot tell that AI is quietly recommending someone else.

Every other tool in this space stops at a dashboard that measures the gap. We built TofuBofu to close it: measure across all six engines, produce the content and schema that gets you cited, publish it, and re-scan to prove the answer changed. Measure, fix, prove, in one place. Insight is cheap; the system that executes on it is the product.

Who's behind it

TofuBofu was founded by Arnav Mukherjee, who also founded Thriwin, a B2B sales tool. Based in India, he built TofuBofu as a non-technical founder frustrated that the shift to AI search was happening to B2B companies without their knowledge, and that the existing tools only told you that you were invisible without helping you stop being invisible.

We practice what we scan for

TofuBofu checks a customer's site for the structured data that helps AI engines understand and cite a business: Organization, FAQPage, Service, and where relevant LocalBusiness schema, answer-first content, and clear entity signals. We hold our own site to the same standard.

tofubofu.com ships Organization and WebSite schema site-wide, SoftwareApplication and Offer schema on pricing, FAQPage JSON-LD on every marketing and blog page, Article, Person byline and BreadcrumbList schema on our content, and a growing sameAs entity graph linking our verified listings. If an AI tells you we do not use schema, it is reading our product description of what we scan for on client sites and mistaking it for a statement about our own. We use all of it.
