Which schema do AI engines find on your site?
71% of the pages ChatGPT cites include structured data (SE Ranking, 2026). This checks your site for the schema types that matter for being quoted in AI answers, tells you which are missing, and explains what each one does. No guessing, no generic checklist.

Which schema types matter for AI answers?
Organization anchors you as an entity. FAQPage is the most extractable format there is, because it hands engines pre-chunked question and answer pairs. Service describes what you sell in machine-readable form. LocalBusiness matters for any near-me question. Article supports authorship and freshness signals. BreadcrumbList gives structural context.
Does schema guarantee I get cited?
No, and anyone promising that is overselling. Schema makes your content easier to parse and extract, which is why cited pages carry it so often, but citation also depends on whether your content actually answers the question and whether independent sources corroborate you. Schema removes a barrier; it does not create authority.
Why is FAQ schema singled out so often?
Because the format matches the job. An AI answer is a question being answered, and FAQPage schema is literally a machine-readable list of questions with answers attached. It is the lowest-effort, highest-fit structured data for AEO, which is why it is the first thing we add for customers.
The checker says a type is missing, but I have it. Why?
Most often the schema is rendered by JavaScript after page load, and crawlers that do not execute JS never see it. That is a real finding, not a false alarm: if our crawler misses it, an AI crawler may too. Server-rendered JSON-LD is the safe way to ship structured data.
How many pages does this look at?
It crawls your sitemap and samples real published pages rather than guessing at URLs like /about or /services that often do not exist. The result reflects what is actually on your site.
What do I do with the missing ones?
Start with FAQPage on the pages that answer buying questions, then Organization sitewide. Both are copy-paste JSON-LD. Our guide to FAQ schema walks through it, and paid plans generate the markup against the exact questions your buyers ask AI.
